The programme covers content from the following areas in particular: pedagogy and didactics, health sciences, psychology, medical ethics, and specialist medical fields such as anatomy, pathology, pharmacology and pathology.
With a Master’s degree, you will be qualified to teach in medical departments at University of Applied Sciences and to take on leadership roles within the healthcare sector. The Master’s degree opens up a wide range of career, progression and development opportunities in educational establishments and other healthcare institutions. For example, it qualifies you for teaching, development and leadership roles at Universities of Applied Sciences, vocational and specialist academies, and other healthcare schools.

The entry requirement for the Master's deggree programme in Medical Pedagogy at HSD Hochschule Döpfer is proof of a first professional qualification on which the Master's deggree programme in Medical Pedagogy is based, Medical Education, e.g. a Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS) in Medical Education, Nursing Education or a comparable subject.
The Master’s programme can be undertaken with either a Bachelor’s degree in an educational discipline or a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare; however, the modules in the first two semesters differ in some respects (see study plan).
