A stay abroad not only broadens your professional horizons, but also contributes to your personal development. Students at HSD Hochschule Döpfer have the opportunity to specifically develop their professional, linguistic and intercultural skills through various mobility programmes. There are various options available for studying and internships in other European and non-European countries.
Staying in Europe with the Erasmus+ programme
The HSD Hochschule Döpfer offers students and staff new opportunities to gain international experience through the Erasmus+ programme. Students can spend one or two semesters at a European partner university and have their academic achievements there transferred towards their studies after successful recognition. In addition, they are entitled to financial support.
We are currently still in the process of establishing the necessary structures, partnerships and application processes. In addition, a stay abroad requires good personal preparation. The first Erasmus+ stays for students are therefore planned for 2027. Please contact us if you are interested!
Stay outside Europe
There are currently no official university partnerships outside Europe. However, students can organise a study visit to a non-European university independently, as so-called freemovers. In doing so, you should obtain information about application deadlines, entry requirements, tuition fees, visa and language regulations at an early stage. Recognition of academic achievements abroad is possible after individual review.
Internship abroad
A subject-specific internship in companies, organisations or institutions abroad offers valuable practical experience in an international environment. Within Europe, this is eligible for funding through Erasmus+ in most cases. The HSD Hochschule Döpfer provides organisational support. Here, too, recognition options and funding applications should be reviewed at an early stage.
Mobility options for staff
As a permanent member of teaching staff or staff at HSD Hochschule Döpfer, you have the opportunity to broaden your horizons, gain international experience and make valuable contacts abroad as part of Erasmus+. Funding is available for mobility for teaching, further education or training purposes lasting between 5 and 60 days, depending on the available funding. To ensure timely approval, applications should ideally be submitted 2 to 3 months before the planned travel date.
If you are interested, please contact the International Office. We will be happy to assist you in planning and organising your stay abroad.
