Methodology consulting

HSD Hochschule Döpfer, in collaboration with Prof. Dr David Urschler, offers methodology advice for final-year projects to students at our university.

Advisory on qualitative and quantitative research methods takes place every Monday from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm (or by arrangement in individual cases).
Please note: To book an appointment, please use the relevant form (Student Archive in TraiNex) and send it to us, completed and signed, by email to methodenberatung@hs-doepfer.de.

The service is tailored to individual needs and covers, in particular, the planning and analysis phases of a study.

• Planning phase: Advisory on study design, selection of suitable survey instruments, sample planning, etc.
• Data collection phase: Advisory on statistical data analysis and the use of statistical software (R and JASP), etc.
• Booking an appointment: It is mandatory that you first consult with your supervisor and that a recommendation for methodological consultation has been issued by your supervisor.
  To avoid any misunderstandings, you are required to draw up a report following the Advisory, which you must submit to your supervisor for signature and return to the Advisory service.
